Bronson Breaks 1600m Record At Roddick Invite.
 

SHIPPENSBURG - Athens junior Sara Bronson broke her own school record in the 1,600-meter run, and sophomore Abby Burgess reached the podium Saturday at the rugged Roddick Track & Field Invitational here at Shippensburg University.

"Sara and Abby both had really good days," said Athens coach Mike Bronson. "This is a really high-level meet, they only accept a certain number of athletes per event, and the girls both really competed well."
